By the way, i'm gonna talk about types of implant according to the materials , as well as yesterday.
Do you know how many types of implant could be used for breast augmentation?

Implant for breast surgery fall into three main classes according to the materials.
First one is Saline Bag which is beginning of Breast augmentation surgery.
It will not cause any health problems whatsoever even if there is leakage.
That's why Saline Bag had been used most widely for Breast augmentation throughout the world.
However, since the introduction of Cohesive Gel, its usage is gradually down due to the outstanding tactile and natural sensation of the Cohesive Gel.
-Advantages and Disadvantages using Saline Bag
(1) Advantages
When unexpectible accident is occured, it will not cause any problems.
(2) Disadvantages
It might be heavy after inserting implant.
Eventhough it could be absorbed, it can cause rippling symtoms when it is leaked. Then, the change of impalnt should be performed immediately.

Second is Cohesive Gel which referred to as 'Co-Gel'.
This is filled with gel-type silicone with outstanding cohesiveness, thereby giving the characteristic of maintaining its original configuration and volume since it does not move around or absorbed as liquid usually does.
It addition, the biggest advantage of this type is that the shape of the implant itself spreads naturally and has outstanding tactile sensation.
As such, it has become the most widely used implant material in the recent years.
The last one is Silicone Gel implant / Double Lumen implant.
This implant was rejected as Approval for application by FDA due to failure to secure the safety of the silicone gel.
All of ITEM patients also used Cohesive Gel for breast augmentation.
If you plan to undergo Breast augmentation, you also use this Cohesive Gel.
However, Cohesive Gel isn't only one type.
Cohesive Gel could be divided few types as the shape or surface of implant.
