PRECAUTIONS AFTER THE SURGERY

The popularity of fat grafting surgery has been significantly increased due to desiring for baby face. Today, I am going to explain about the precautions after the fat grafting surgery and ways to raise the survival of fat.

(1) AFTER THE SURGERY PROCEDURE 
If you have discomfort due to bandage, compression band, then please do not remove them by yourself. You had better contact with your consultant and please visit clinic to handle them carefully.

(2) SWELLING AND BRUISING

-Swelling and bruising can caused for 48hours and they will be gradually reduced in 2weeks. 

-You have to lie down in 45 degree to prevent from being swelled.
-Applying ice pack can reduce swelling but in case of fat grafting surgery the surgical site is highly probable to be pressed.

(3) DAILY LIFE 
-You can perform your normal life but you should avoid going to hot and humid area such as hot bath and sauna.

(4) WASHING UP&MAKE UP 
-Washing up and make up will be available 5days after from the surgery. But, whenever you wash your face and apply make up, please do not rub too hardly.

(5) SURVIVAL RATE OF FAT 

-To raise the survival rate of fat you have to manage your surgical site for a while.
-Please avoid wearing a hat and sunglasses for about a month to raise the survival rate of fat.

(6) SMOKING&DRINKING 

-You should avoid drinking alcohol and smoking for about a month at least since drinking alcohol and smoking can reduce the survival rate of fat.
