-DEVIATED NOSE 
 There are several reasons for deviated nose. It can be caused by physical accident, asymmetrical size and shape between left and right. When it comes to correction for deviated nose, all of bony structure, cartilage and deviated septum can be corrected with this surgery procedure.

TYPES OF RHINOPLASTY SURGERY

① LOW BRIDGE 
-FLAT NOSE CASE) SILICONE IMPLANT + TIP SURGERY 
The person who have low and flat nose can be seemed to be wide face and less dimensional. In case of low bridge, the surgery procedure normally includes silicone implant and tip surgery.
Some of patients want to insert only silicone implant, but tip surgery should be operated at the same time to create more sophisticated and defined line.

-SURGICAL METHOD

-Firstly, the exfoliation will be done first to set aside implant by open-method. After exfoliation, the silicone implant which is suitable one for patients will be accordingly inserted.

② UPTURN NOSE

If the patient who have short bridge with upturn nose, then tip surgery should be accordingly planned by grafting additional materials. 

-STEP(1) GRAFTING SEPTUM CARTILAGE 

The grafting septum cartilage is the most effective surgical procedure to lengthen bridge for ideal nose length. 

-STEP(2) ALAR RIM GRAFT 

If the patient who have a concern with pinched nose, then additional cartilage can be added around both of nostrils.

PRECAUTIONS BEFORE EYE SURGERY

Prior to having a eye surgery, there are several precautions to lead your surgery more successful. Then, what should be prepared before having a eye surgery?

-TAKING MEDICINE?
Patients who are planning for eye surgery, they have to refrain from taking medicine especially the types of aspirins and supplements at least a week ago from the surgery procedure.
*NOTED!) Hypertension Controller Pill, Anemia Pill and Diabetes Pill should be taken in the morning before having a surgery.

-APPAREL?
You had better wear comfort and casual clothes. And please bring sunglasses and a hat if you want to cover your surgical site. Please do not wear any accessories such as necklace, ring and bracelet. The mask will be provided at clinic.
*NOTED!) Nail polish should be removed before the surgery.

-SMOKING&DRINKING?
Smoking and drinking will not be allowed not only before the surgery but also after the surgery for your healing process.

PRECAUTIONS AFTER THE SURGERY

(FAT GRAFTING SURGERY)

The popularity of fat grafting surgery has been significantly increased due to desiring for baby face. Today, I am going to explain about the precautions after the fat grafting surgery and ways to raise the survival of fat.

(1) AFTER THE SURGERY PROCEDURE 
If you have discomfort due to bandage, compression band, then please do not remove them by yourself. You had better contact with your consultant and please visit clinic to handle them carefully.

(2) SWELLING AND BRUISING

-Swelling and bruising can caused for 48hours and they will be gradually reduced in 2weeks. 

-You have to lie down in 45 degree to prevent from being swelled.
-Applying ice pack can reduce swelling but in case of fat grafting surgery the surgical site is highly probable to be pressed.

(3) DAILY LIFE 
-You can perform your normal life but you should avoid going to hot and humid area such as hot bath and sauna.

(4) WASHING UP&MAKE UP 
-Washing up and make up will be available 5days after from the surgery. But, whenever you wash your face and apply make up, please do not rub too hardly.

(5) SURVIVAL RATE OF FAT 

-To raise the survival rate of fat you have to manage your surgical site for a while.
-Please avoid wearing a hat and sunglasses for about a month to raise the survival rate of fat.

(6) SMOKING&DRINKING 

-You should avoid drinking alcohol and smoking for about a month at least since drinking alcohol and smoking can reduce the survival rate of fat.
