-You have to observe fast at least 6-8hours before from the surgery procedure.
(2)MEDICATION
-Medications such as Aspirin,VitaminE and Birth Control Pills are not allowed to be taken from 2 weeks ago. (Taking medication such as Diabetes Medication, Hyper Tension Control Pills and Anemia Pills are available.)
(3)MENSTRUATION
-If you are in period, then you have to let the surgeon or consultant know for your safety.
(4)APPEARANCE
-All types of accessories has to be removed before entering surgery room. 

*At least a week ago from the surgery, drinking and smoking both of them are prohibited from being caused infection problems.

Materials For Rhinoplasty Surgery

Hello, Readers! Today, I will explain more in detail about what types of materials can be used for rhinoplasty surgery. Every materials has advantages and disadvantages. You have to choose accordingly according to your procedure and diagnosis to reach your ultimate goal. And you have to consider about your case is primary case or revision case.

There are several materials which are can be applied for rhinoplasty surgery. For example, there are ear cartilage, septal cartilage and rib cartilage.

(1) EAR CARTILAGE
- It is most similar with inside of nose cartilage and it can be diversed in various shape according to desirable shape. The way to harvest is quite simple procedure and if this ear cartilage can be accordingly used then it would be best material for patients.

(2) SEPTAL CARTILAGE 
-  One of the most effective advantages of using septal cartilage is "BEARING POWER". It is really supportive and enough to hard to support tip after the surgery procedure.

(3) RIB CARTILAGE(DONATED-RIB CARTILAGE)
- In case of rib cartilage, it is mostly used for revision case. The main disadvantage is remained-scar around chest area. To harvest rib cartilage, patients go through general anesthesia. INCISION METHOD FOR NOSE SURGERY

OPEN METHOD/CLOSED METHOD

Types of Anesthesia

Types of anesthesia can be determined by types of surgery procedure. Today, I will explain about several types of anesthesia for your general comprehension regarding plastic surgery procedure.



# GENERAL ANESTHESIA
- In case of general anesthesia, patients will be under unconscious condition during operation. During operation, patients cannot react and detect external stimulus. General anesthesia can be operated by airway intubation. Airway intubation has to be done by general anesthesia doctor and this procedure is the most important issue regarding general anesthesia. Through airway intubation, patients can be provided oxygen and after the procedure carbon dioxide emission can be accordingly achieved.



#SLEEPING ANESTHESIA 
- Sleeping anesthesia, it is also known as "intravenous anesthesia". In contrast to general anesthesia, after the surgery is finished, patients can wake up right away once stop injecting intravenous anesthesia. Sometimes, patients are confused with sleeping anesthesia and painless anesthesia. But painless anesthesia is simple anesthesia type which belongs to local anesthesia type.



#PAINLESS ANESTHESIA
- Painless anesthesia is a temporary measure to operate local anesthesia. It means that this one is kind of supplements. This type of anesthesia is totally different from operating sleeping anesthesia. It can be applied for infant among 5-6 years old kids. Duration is way to short(3-5minutes) and safe.



#LOCAL ANESTHESIA   
- In case of local anesthesia, it can be applied for surgical site that wish to have by using thinnest needle. The only surgical site will be numbed temporarily for operation.

Self-Diagnosis for Ptosis Problem

Hello, Readers! Thank you for reading article! Today, I want to explain about ptosis problem. Even though I already explained regarding ptosis correction surgery procedure several times, some of patients are still having a difficulty distinguishing ptosis problem. Today, I will clearly explain about this procedure! :)

Firstly, please refer to this example from this below that I attached.

(1) If your pupils are covered with upper eyelids and they are not exposed fully(less than 80%), than you would be a good candidate for ptosis correction surgery.
(But, if your eye-opening function works very well, then this problem can be improved by operating only double eyelid surgery with full-incision method through removing the excessive skin tissue around your upper eyelids.)

(2) If you feel sensation of heavy around your upper eyelids, then muscle correction procedure should be operated to correct your eye-opening function by adjusting muscle tension.

(3) If your symmetrical symptom is visible, then it can affect on the position of eyebrows. This symptom can be dissolved by ptosis correction procedure.

 -Firstly, the surgeon will create incision line to remove the excessive skin and fat tissue around your upper eyelids to make your eyes more vivid. And then, through the incision line, a muscle tension can be accordingly adjusted according to your diagnosis.
